What can I say? Atmospheric, slow, style over substance, unattractive and unengaging characters, limited script. Dull and turgid. As the detective in charge, Rafe Spall inspires no confidence whatsoever. Kelly Reilly runs around pretending she's still a detective - in any real word, she'd be arrested for interfering with the investigation. There's plenty of angst and lots of shots of Reilly and Spall looking concerned, thoughtful, confused or whatever. The plot meanders around and doesn't hold the interest. Overall, this is disappointing and poor. No doubt some will love it but, for me, 2 episodes is more than enough and I have no interest in finding out who did what to whom and when. Three.
