Under Salt Marah is set in the fictional welsh village/town of Morfyn. Its a coastal town that is having some issues with the weather and flooding. Tragedy besets the town when a young boy is found dead in a ditch by his local school teacher. A police officer is sent to lead the investigation but he has a rather tumultuous past with the teacher. My first impressions were very similar to The Bay, beautiful sweeping Vistas and visually stunning scenery. This is more of a small village and countryside setting than the bay. Wales is a very pretty place and the producers lean in to this a lot. The acting is very good, slightly dour but the circumstances of course relay this. Im only 2 episodes in but so far it is a good watch. 7/10.
