Plot and character development are a matter of opinion, I am happy with 'slow burn', provided there is closure, but as another reviewer suggests, lack of research is unforgivable. Mancunians in central Manchester would kill for flats in a leafy square, where it is possible to park right in front of their house and be so free of traffic noise. And oh yes, where curtains are not required. But my main criticism is technical, the camera being used for continuous video surveilance, seems to be a dslr. The video facility on such cameras runs for 29 minutes and 59 seconds, then switches off. Battery going flat? Really? Surely a professional would use an A. C. adapter? ITV drama is usually very good, this is amateurish. Very disappointing.
