You can't go wrong having the engaging Rachel Weisz headline a series. She has great charisma and is always warm and authentic even if the character isn't necessarily the case. And she does good work here. The show itself ? Haven't we seen enough of Rich liberals and their BS problems - this one is set in the world of academia. Oh they have a daughter but she can't be straight she had to be a miserable lesbian who moans and groans and has a diverse partner. Yawn. She's really annoying by the way. Then there's Leo Woodall the young professor who is likeable enough but aren't we sick of English men playing American men. I mean isn't there enough American actors who can do this, it's always a Brit... Leo does a solid job but isn't at Rachel's level John Slattery plays the husband in a role he has played so many times. The support cast are ok but a few are cringe. The idea isn't bad, the execution isn't bad Like a lot of Netflix shows can't imagine this going past a season.
