This show is surprisingly good. When I saw the trailer I thought the lead mumbling his way through it probably going to be bad. How wrong was I, the lead is really good, his acting is great. I love the mythology, the characters, the little humour and all the Gen Z silly fun. Love the little "what can go Wong" section TV show too. Since its called American Born Chinese, it would be great if they show more of his non-chinese friends. Like the soccer bonding activities, they only focus on Jin, he's so funny but I wanna know what his friends did too. And this show miss the perfect chance to have some causcasian and black Angels & God in heaven. I feel the costume is not great as the chinese tv show. Also why the Chinese series have pretty good looking casts but Hollywood is allergic to good looking Asian? Like the Dragon King, he should be majestic and strong, but the Dragon King in this show look nothing like a Dragon King. Overall, I really like this show. I just wish they give more screen time to the non-chinese characters because the show is American born Chinese. Still loving the "what can go Wong TV"
