I went into Off Campus expecting another weak book adaptation, but the series actually surprised me. Yes, there are major changes from the books, but most of them make the story feel more realistic and better suited for television. The writers understood that what works in a novel doesn't always work on screen, and the adaptation benefits from that approach. This is actually one of those rare cases where the show might actually work better than the source material. The pacing feels smoother, the characters more believable, and the overall story more grounded. Fans of the books may be skeptical at first, but I'd recommend watching it with an open mind instead of expecting a page-by-page adaptation. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed it.
