The concept is fun and familiar for a reason. A monster of the week style show centered on serial killers has real potential. Unfortunately, uneven writing makes the series frustrating at times. Episodes feel predictable early on, and it's hard to tell whether the acting is weak or simply weighed down by the material. With tighter plots, bolder storytelling, and more creative twists, this could become a strong procedural. I'm sticking with it in hopes a second season forces meaningful changes, because the foundation is there.
