When the first Rock Dog came out in February 2017 in theaters ,it unfortunately was no a box office success. Which is too bad because I rented it (And reviewed it here) and it was wonderful. I also purchased the DVD and watched it several times. Based on the short description here, our young hero from the first film has made it with his music but is dealing with the ups of the business as well as the downs. The Story , the voice acting and animation quality were top notch. Knowing that, this direct to home video sequel , is no less. I feel if they really wanted to create this sequel, knowing it was nor a popular film to start with, they would still create a quality work Adults can enjoy the somewhat more mature elements and references and kids can enjoy it for the fun and easy to comprehend story. Give it a look, and it's parent film, first, as well, It'll be worth your time . (END)
