Description
100 years in the future, planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race. The first of these missions on a spacecraft known as Ark One encounters a catastrophic event causing massive destruction and loss of life. A decent budget has clearly been wasted on a terrible story with a great premise. The script is so patronizing to the target audience with all the cliche high school characters and hackneyed villains. These people have been chosen for a mission crucial to humanity's survival and were selected from hundreds of thousands of applicants and passed rigorous testing and training and yet they behave like naughty brats in the schoolyard. It reminds me of the mass produced flash cartoons of the 2000's. A lost opportunity for the show creators who went for a committee designed, safe option, resulting in something that watches like you've already seen it and were not impressed the first time.
