At this point we're 4 episodes in to this 6 episode mini-series and this is far and away the best spin-off they've done - and sits easily among the very best this franchise has ever offered. I never fully bought in to the Rick and Michonne relationship in the original show, but The Ones Who Live has, in just 4 episodes, made me believe in their relationship in a way the original show never did. The writing and acting on display here far outshines anything we saw from Andrew Lincoln and Dania Gurira in the original show and I can't wait to see how this story ends. I haven't been this excited for TWD since the earliest seasons of the original run. Here's hoping they stick the landing.
