I honestly absolutely loved this, maybe it's because I've never seen or read lord of the Flies before, but I genuinely was in awe of the whole thing. There were so many comments online about the use of the fisheye lens along with the cinematography, but to me, I thought everything was so well thought out, it was actually like a work of art with all the shots It almost felt like I was on the island with them it really immerses you into the whole series. The way the island was slowly getting engulfed by the red, those shots were just insane. Maybe because I'm majoring in music, I might be biased but the soundtrack really stuck out to me I thought the composer did such a good job reflecting what was happening on screen, especially with the strings and woodwind parts and the little motifs throughout. Honestly, overall, I thought this was a masterpiece, so I was really disappointed to see so many reviews not actually seeing what a great work of art this series actually is.
